Marc Hickman, of Woodbridge, assaulted the woman after the two got into a fight at an apartment in the 15000 block of Sunny Ridge Court on the morning of Tuesday, May 10, Prince William County Police said.
Hickman allegedly pushed the woman before grabbing her neck during the altercation, police said. He then physically prevented the woman from contacting police by taking her phone.
The woman eventually separated herself and ran out of the apartment, police said. She reported minor injuries to police. Hickman was later arrested and charged accordingly police said.
